Method of payment:
All payment either for registration and hotel reservation should be transferred to the bank account or credit card of the organizing committee as stated below.  Please be understood that we have to receive net payment accordingly. Overseas bank charges should be paid by the sender upon transfer transaction made. Based on the Indonesian Banking Policy, you have to add USD 10 (ten American dollars) in every transfer transaction made for the local bank handling charges purposed.

Receipt payment will be produced upon receiving the money, so please fax or email the bank receipt transfer to the secretariat to avoid any difficulties in registration and hotel check in.

International Participants for PIT PERDORSKI XI Event are encouraged to pay upon arrival.

Will be given to the participant upon completing the congress and can be taken at the registration desk.

A commercial exhibition will be opened during meeting hours 08:00 – 16:00.   For more information, please contact the Congress Secretariat.

Registration & Hotel Reservation
The participant & accompanying person (s) have to complete the registration form and fax it to the Secretariat for data base purpose.  We will produce the registration receipt after receiving the payment. Please bring the receipt when re-registration.  Hotel reservation should be made through the organizing committee. The hotel rate is net/night, including breakfast, tax and service charge. A one (1) night deposit has to be paid as a confirmation of hotel booking. Check out time is 14:00pm, later than that will be charged for one day.

Cancellation
For registration and hotel reservation
-    There will be 50% charges for written cancellation received one (1) month before the conference.
-    No refund for cancellation received  (2) weeks before the conference.
-    All refunds will be processed  after the conference.

Transportation
For transportation  from Ngurah Rai airport to the hotel or vice versa, you may contact the hotel.  The transportation fee is Rp. 50,000,– for one way each person. Taxi  recommended is the Blue Bird Taxi.

Badge (Name tag)
It is compulsory for participants & accompanying person (s) to wear their badge throughout the meeting. Only badge holders will be admitted to the sessions and social events.

Passport & Visa
Some countries require visa arrangement. Please contact the local Indonesian Embassy or Consulate in your country (Note: no visa required for ASEAN countries)

Letter of invitation
Upon request, the Organizing Committee will issue a letter of invitation.  The sole purpose of the letter is to facilitate the delegate’s travel and visa arrangements.  The invitation does not imply provision of financial or other support.

Currency
The unit of currency is the Rupiah (IDR) and credit cards are accepted at most hotels and shops. Exchange rate approx. USD1 = Rp. 10,000.-. Porter’s tip at the airport is +/- IDR 30,000,- / luggage.

With a population recorded as 3,551,000 in 2009, this Paradise Island is home to the vast majority of Indonesia’s small Hindu minority. 93.18% of Bali’s population adheres to Balinese Hinduism, while most of the remainder follow Islam. It is also the largest tourist destination in the country and is renowned for its highly developed arts, including dance, sculpture, painting, leather, metalworking and music.

Three decades ago, the Balinese economy was largely agriculture-based in terms of both output and employment. Tourism is now the largest single industry; and as a result, Bali is one of Indonesia’s wealthiest regions. About 80% of Bali’s economy depends on tourism.

Tourism, Bali’s chief industry, has provided the island with a foreign audience that is eager to pay for entertainment, thus creating new performance opportunities and more demand for performers. The impact of tourism is controversial since before it became integrated into the economy, the Balinese performing arts did not exist as a capitalist venture, and were not performed for entertainment outside of their respective ritual context.

Since the 1930’s sacred rituals such as the barong dance have been performed both in their original contexts, as well as

exclusively for paying tourists. This has led to new versions of many of these performances which have developed according to the preferences of foreign audiences; some villages have a barong mask specifically for non-ritual performances as well as an older mask which is only used for sacred performances

Another increasingly important source of income for Bali is what is called “Congress Tourism” from the frequent international conferences held on the island.  From professional congress, medical related congress such as delayed orgasm, heart disease,  how to prevent premature ejaculation, tourism congress  and other business congress, Bali has it.

Balinese and Indonesian are the most widely spoken languages in Bali, and the vast majority of Balinese people are bilingual or trilingual. There are several indigenous Balinese languages, but most Balinese can also use the most widely spoken option: modern common Balinese. The usage of different Balinese languages was traditionally determined by the Balinese caste system and by clan membership, but this tradition is diminishing.

English is a common third language (and the primary foreign language) of many Balinese, owing to the requirements of the tourism industry.
